we did cardio in weights today and it SUCKED. yick my legs are still tired.

let's see...yesterday went and got Tammy. Side note; Neosho makes no sense. It's like the person who planned the city got a little kid to scribble all over a paper and then smear dirt on it and went "Ok, there's our street plans!". yeah I got lost. haha. anyways, then we went and bothered all our people at the mall, meandered around, and then went to Bob Evans since Alicia hadn't seen Tammy in a while. where I guess we got her and Scott in trouble (eek, sorry guys!) and got to see the scary dragon lady for ourselves. and she is indeed a scary dragon lady.

umm yeah. I'm not sure if I like the split lunch. it's weird. too quiet. and I think we annoy Alicia haha.

driving home on V highway going 30 mph when you can't see ten feet in front of you even with your brights on while it's storming like there's no tomorrow and pouring down rain and ending up in a ditch (that I miraculously got out of) = hysterical Michelle. who is feeling better after calming down and eating something.

so Pulse is stupid. everything else was great, but the movie was a little dumb - it was like, an hour of death/make-you-jump (ok, made me jump, Scott laughed at me) scenes strung together with a 30 minute attempt at a plot explanation tacked on the end (that still had some jump scenes in it). we were going to go see the Descent but apparently that's not showing any more, so I guess it'll have to be watched at the cheapies. whenever the heck it gets there, it takes freakin' FOREVER. Clerks 2 isn't even out at the cheapies yet. and I didn't get to sleep 'til almost two(we went to the 10:10 showing so I didn't even get home 'til 12:25 or so) and then woke up at like 8:45. gr. oh well, 'twas worth it. I'm not that tired anyways. and I'm currently rotting my teeth on the last of the stash from Mr. Bulky's. dammit, I'll have to go buy more before work. if they're still open.

yeah so I have nothing else to say...I'm so fascinating...

check it, my totally awesome very 80s (I thought it was fitting given the subject material) TMNT shirt. yeah that's right. how cool am I?

...

*crickets chirp*

anyways here it is:

so I'm going to look very 80s tonight (going to see Pulse with Scott) with the straight-leg jeans and pink/orange nail polish and the shirt. oh well.

quick rundown of the week:

sunday: went to Buffalo Wild Wings with Jess/Minkus/Minkus's mom. not a great choice for a vegetarian. I had potato wedges. at least they were good.
monday: nothing.
tuesday: went to see Ice Age 2 with Scott. had fun, good movie.
wednesday: worked 5-9, bleech. stockroom crap. got my phone in the mail but had to charge it so it didn't activate 'til this morning.
today: CRAPPY day at school. very crappy. it was like someone goes "hey let's have everyone say asinine things at lunch and then they can go off at each other, it'll be like dropping a string of firecrackers in a barrel of rats, BWAHAHAHAHA." and then I get home, I thought me and Tammy(Tammy and I, wtf-ever) were going to do something but she had to babysit kids so she couldn't. so I go over at some point to Bob Evans and proceed to be entertained by Scott and Alicia, which was somewhat of the cheering up nature. I go say hi to Tammy and give her my old phone (she got a new Cingular phone so she just switched the SIM card) and we talked at her house for a little while and then I went home. and I was supposed to work on my TMNT shirt because I need to make it, but I'm too tired to. so I guess I'll make it tomorrow when I get home. and I need to find some project to drag to school to do in advanced art 'cause I've got nothing. probably some kind of crochet since the sewing machine we have in the art room is ancientish. and I'm not sure if I can work it without completely reading the manual. also the difficulty with making something at school is that I'm used to being able to change shirts while standing at the sewing machine to see if the new shirt is coming along okay. while I don't really care, I don't think that'd go over too well in the art room. that sucks because I could really use the extra time. I'll think of something yes I will.

and now, night.

haha so I remembered something from the other day that warmed my heart. I was taking Logan to Target(and every-freaking-where else, looking for Digimon cards), and I had Rock Against Bush 2 in the stereo...one of the songs starts out with a voiceover of Bush talking and then goes into kids singing, then the song ("No W" by Ministry, I think...too lazy to look it up). Logan goes "Michelle, did he really say that?" "Bush? Yeah." "So this is Rock Against Bush, right?" "Yup, it is" "Is this one or two?"

awww. like I said, warms the heart.

so, yesterday was a rollercoaster. after I left home, I went to the mall, and Amy hadn't got the paychecks yet so I walked down and got the paychecks. I finally got my paycheck, looked at it, and it was less than I expected. I go cash it anyways, and then go to the cell phone place, they wouldn't let me get my phone without my mom there. so I go back to the bank and double-check to see if there's any way I can get a bank account without having to have my mom sign since I'm a month away from my eighteenth birthday. Both of the tellers told me that there was a very good chance I could, and then when I asked about it to the other person (forgot what her title or whatever was), she said no right off. Frustrated and annoyed, I go BACK into the mall and down to Mr. Bulky's because I see they're having a 50% off sale for everything in the store. freakin' sweet. literally. haha. anyways, so I buy a ton of stuff there, while I'm in line I get a call from Amy. "Uh, Michelle, did you take Makala's paycheck, because we have another one here with your name on it." I head back down to Journey's, and it turns out I had another paycheck for like $24 from the first day or two I worked, which explains where the missing money went. The rest of the night was okay-ish, except that I was exhausted. I bought boots for my mom (and new Vans for me, since the Rocketdogs were killing my feet being in them five hours a day), and when I got home they didn't fit. So today, after a rough start to the day, I got them exchanged while I was at work. Work was okay, and then I went and talked to Jess at Spencer's. Went to BAM, couldn't find V for Vendetta, went to B. Dalton (back at the mall AGAIN), couldn't find it there either, so I went to Hastings, where I *finally* found it. Got Jones sodas and went and talked to Scott and Alicia for about an hourish. and had some strawberry lemonade that burned a hole in my throat haha. and then I went home and here I am. the new boots fit my mom, which is good because I didn't want to get them exchanged again. anyways, day that started off bad, went okay, and got much better after work. yay. and hopefully, my blog will at some point get to where I can actually see it on my computer at home. grr.

so my blog is broken again, I guess. damn you blogger, damn you to hell. I'm attempting posting to see if it'll fix it since it did last time, during my 30 minute stop at home to get food and then to go get my check and my NEW PHONE, among other things. *is happy, despite kind of a crappy day at school...more on that later*

Thursday, August 17, 2006

okay, so maybe I wasn't as lazy as expected.

here's the front, and also the first-day-of-school picture with my siblings. I am not really as tiny as this makes me look, I swear. or pale. haha, and the entire time I had that sesame street song running through my head... "which one of these things is not like the others, which one of these things just doesn't belong". and check out my dorky little brother scratching his head.

and the back...much later in the day...

and the jeans stencilling, though this is a crappy picture. it's really a lot harder than you'd think it'd be to take pictures of jeans while you're wearing them.

I was happy with how the stencilling and the shirt both turned out. the stencilling was a PAIN. all those little leaves and flower petals? damn. and the red splashed over places where it shouldn't have been, but it looked good anyways, so it didn't bother me. anyways yeah I'm probably going to bed in a little while.

So the first day of school wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. the second day wasn't either, haha. Like I suspected, mostly mindless classes, but at least the people I'm with are entertaining. there's not really much to talk about other than that, just same old work and stuff. although we had another incident with stupid customers - these people came *into* the store at ten after nine(the mall is supposed to be closed at nine), they didn't get done shopping until about ten. right, okay, they were buying like $300 worth of stuff, I can deal. their check didn't clear. holy freakin' crap. I was so annoyed, I didn't even get home until 11:45 last night, and didn't get to sleep until probably 12:30. I don't mind customers that come in a little after close, there was a family that came in about the same time (but left 40 minutes earlier), and they kept saying "thank you" and "sorry", more than anything else. and then when they left they said "thank you for staying open for us!" again. That doesn't bother me. people who act like we're supposed to be open at 9:30, that annoys me. frickin' a people, if you're leaving when the janitors are cleaning the store, and we're the only store with lights on that you can see...YOU SHOULD HAVE GOT THE &@^$ OUT SOONER. sheesh. yeah so I've been damn near dead all day. I'll probably go to sleep insanely early. and then tomorrow I get paaaid booyah!

(oh, at some point I'll probably have pictures of my V for Vendetta shirt and my jeans stencilling as well...when I'm not too lazy to put them up...)

Sunday, August 13, 2006

ouch. so I half-fell off a ladder today at work and landed entirely on one foot and it has been KILLING me ever since. oooooowie.

I've got Monday and Tuesday off once again...dunno what I'm going to do. tomorrow will probably be an inside cleaning my room organizing things day, because my clothes are all a mess and I need to figure out where everything's at haha. also I have two new shirts(V for Vendetta and TMNT) shirts to mutilate so that they fit me. Tuesday, I want to go to the movies or do *something* since it's the last day before school. Jess has to work in the evening though. I kind of want to see the Descent, because I keep hearing it's good. either that or Ricky Bobby. I dunno...we'll see.

this concludes the oh-so-interesting blog post. yup.

Monday, August 07, 2006

so I went and got enrolled and stuff. ick. I really hate that place. anyways, after being there for literally an hour and a half, this is the end result:

1. office aide (I might get it switched to Chem I, I dunno)
2. Geography/Economics
3. Weights
4. Advanced Art
5. Fashion Marketing/Sports Entertainment

and since I'm taking the Fashion/Sports class, that means I get to do CCE, which means I leave after fifth hour. which I am insanely grateful for.

The schedules were screwed up all to hell, my original schedule only had hours 2, 3, and 5 on it. and it is going to be SO hard to relearn to bite my tongue haha. I walked in there, and the principal and counsellor said hi, counsellor introduced himself, and it took everything I had to not say "yeah, I'm Michelle, otherwise known as one of the dirty bloggers". Then we're discussing what the hell they were going to do with me first hour since I'd either already taken or didn't need all the classes that were offered, and I was trying so hard not to say "so can I just not come in 'til second hour, 'cause I hate this place and that would kick ass." sooo...I'm an office aide. fun fun. I might just take Chem I even though I don't need it, 'cause office aide-ness is boring and Jess is in that class. On the other hand, I really suck at chemistry.

I don't work again 'til Wednesday. I have noooo idea what I'm going to do with myself until then, even though I asked for it off since my mom goes in for surgery today. *twiddles thumbs*

Sunday, August 06, 2006

oh, although I am now the owner of a copy of V for Vendetta thanks to my oh-so-cool mom. that's a plus.

I have had the worst day in for freaking ever. Or I guess it would be more accurate to say something like the worst last 24 hours or something. I dunno. I'm tired and my head hurts, I worked 13 hours yesterday and then didn't sleep well, fell asleep at one thirtyish and woke up at 8:20, couldn't get back to sleep. Fiddled around 'til I went in at noon, worked six hours and kept getting an incredible run of bitchy annoying people, and then these stupid $#@%tards decided to come in and stay when everyone else was closing and it was obvious we were supposed to be closed. We would have got out a freaking hour earlier if the stupid inconsiderate idiots hadn't been there. Our gate didn't even go down until ten 'til seven (the mall closes at six). It's like, freaking a people, what makes you think it's okay to do that?! What makes your time soooo much more important than ours and what makes you think we want to stay an extra hour?! 'cause you know, it's not like we don't want to go home or have things to do. ugh, people piss me off, and now I hurt in more ways than I knew it was possible to.

A very attractive blonde woman from Texas arrived at a casino and bet $20,000 on a single roll of the dice. She said, "I hope y'all don't mind, but I feel much luckier when I'm completely nude." With that, she stripped, threw her clothes aside, rolled the dice and yelled, "Come on, baby, Mama needs new clothes!". As the dice came to a stop she jumped up and down and squealed, "YES! YES! I WON, I WON!". She hugged each of the dealers and then picked up her winnings and her clothes; and quickly departed. The dealers stared at each other dumfounded.

Finally, one of them asked, "What did she roll?" The other answered, "I don't know - I thought you were watching."

Moral: Not all Texans are stupid and not all blondes are dumb, but all men are men.

haha.

so my blog isn't working. *kicks it*

boring day off, ran around some with Jessica, drank coffee, bugged random people at Joe Muggs and Hastings, visited a friend we haven't seen in a while, went home. I don't work again 'til Thursday, hallelujah and etc., and then I work Thursday and Friday evenings, and open to close Saturday and Sunday. Which I understand should be really fun. woo-hoo. anyways I'm mostly posting this to see if it'll fix my blog. so nothing else to say.
